Submitting a version
Form fields, limits and what happens after you send it.
- Type — extension, theme or language pack.
- Code — the manifest code: 2–120 characters a–z, 0–9, “.”, “_”, “-”.
- Name — up to 180 characters. Version — the manifest version, up to 40 characters.
- Compatibility — the Tobto.shop version range, e.g. ^1.0 (up to 120 characters).
- Publication JSON — the <code>-<version>.manifest.json file from the packager. Required for extensions, themes and language packs.
- ZIP package — up to 50 MB (theme or language pack — up to 16 MB).
Once sent, the version is Uploaded and the automated checks start. Pressing the button again does not create a duplicate: each submission carries its own idempotency key.
The same is available over the API: POST /api/cc/v1/developer/submissions (multipart: manifest — JSON with type, code, name, version, compatibility, publication_manifest; package — the ZIP) with the X-Organization-ID and Idempotency-Key (UUID) headers.
