Moving from OpenCart: products, customers, orders and SEO URLs

How the move works

  1. Create a cloud store

    Seven days free — enough to check everything before you pay.

  2. Connect OpenCart

    In the admin wizard, give access to the OpenCart database or upload its dump.

  3. Review the result

    The wizard shows what was moved and what to know about — nothing disappears silently.

  4. Point your domain

    Connect your domain to Tobto.shop — old links open the new pages.

What moves

  • Categories and products with descriptions, images, prices and stock
  • Options, attributes, manufacturers and related products
  • Customers and customer groups — with their own passwords
  • Order history
  • Coupons, reviews and information pages
  • Currencies and SEO URLs

Third-party OpenCart modules and the theme do not move: their features are built into Tobto.shop, and the storefront look is set up in the admin.

Supported versions and limits

OpenCart 1.5, 2.x, 3.0 and 4.x are supported, as well as ocStore. Versions older than 1.5 are not supported.

  • Store data is moved, not the features of third-party modules: check the replacements you need under «Integrations» before moving.
  • The storefront look (theme) is set up again in the Tobto.shop admin.
  • Review the wizard’s report before switching your domain: what was moved and what needs attention.

Old URLs lead to the new ones

An old URL — both the SEO URL and index.php?route=… — answers with a 301 redirect to the new product, category or article page, so shoppers with old bookmarks land in the right place. Redirects help keep traffic, but Google warns that rankings may fluctuate during a move; we do not promise to restore previous positions.
